Michael Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 Greetings everyone, I wanted to pop in and introduce myself. A couple of my friends mentioned this community, and I wanted to check it out myself. While I'm a complete novice in this category, I find myself eager to start a beginner project aimed at turning something I use every day into a more convenient tool for day-to-day use. One of my personal hobbies is fishing, and I'm curious to explore how much I can replace with carbon fiber on a fishing reel. I'm a bit of a fishing geek and attempting to achieve the lightest fishing rig while maintaining strength is something that excites us fishermen. I know a lot of parts can be purchased already complete but being able to create something of my own would be so much more rewarding . I look forward to sharing and educating myself here. I'm already finding some interesting topics from other members. Cheers & Happy Holidays! Michael 1 Quote
