The OD needs to remain at 1" to accommodate the tee fittings and it needs to support a load of 40 lbs (canopy total weight) which is distributed fairly equally to all four pole ends.
Can you make recommendations of most economical carbon fiber tubes that might fit this need and provide pricing and availability.

I am considering offering carbon fiber tubes as an option on the two crossbars of my patented Y-TOP (convertible boat top).
The current crossbars are 1" OD x .049 x 72" polished 304 stainless steel....see photo in the link below.
