Hi there

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Newbie here and a hobbyist to the composites world.

I have been carbon skinning car parts for over a year now and am hoping to naturally evolve to carbon infusion.

As for the skinning, it's love-hate and I'm still making some trivial mistakes such as sanding through to the carbon, carbon not adhereing 100%, clear coat issues, etc. Hoping to fine tune my skills.

I think the first step in my evolution would be vacuum bagging some skinned parts so achieve a better success rate when it comes to adhesion. Any pointers?

Anyways, here's an honest hello from me 👋
